Mocha Mott’s flagship location, at 10 Circuit Ave, was opened in 1994 by it’s founder Mott Hinkley (Yeah, that’s his face!). In 2001, Tim Dobel and Meredith Aldrich took over. In 2004 they opened up a second location at 15 Main st. in Vineyard Haven.

In January 2026, they sold the building in Vineyard Haven and Tim retired. Now solely owned by Island Gal, Meredith. The Oak Bluffs location is open mid April till December 31st-ish

Serving organic, fair trade coffee & espresso drinks, homemade baked goods, Cape Cod bagels, and MV Barkery dog bones. Homemade soups and specials are also available in the off-season. Featuring gluten free items and alpha-gal friendly baked goods. And we don’t upcharge for non-dairy milks!

The shop provides a fun, friendly, and fast-paced environment to get you going in the morning, afternoon or early evening. Mocha Mott’s is a place where locals and visitors mix and meet to enjoy good coffee and good times. Our well-known stickers have been spotted worldwide, from the Eiffel Tower to the Great Wall of China!
